Pillai's College of Education and Research was established in July 2007 and offers the B.Ed. course.The Postgraduate Department of Education offering the M.Ed. course was established in July 2008. It is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bhopal. Situated in an easily accessible location in New Panvel, the college has been designed with a view to creating virtual classrooms. Students have access to a range of modern facilities such as a technologically viable lecture hall with Internet connectivity, a well-equipped library with open access system and Internet connectivity, and a computer room with 60 computers, a LAN System, and LCD and Internet connectivity. Other facilities include a psychology lab, teaching aid room and well-equipped audio-visual room.
